- No teams are allowed to pay a start fee. First prize will be 100 Euros and second prize probably some chocolate.
- No games will be transmitted live, hence it is only possible to follow the tournament in the playing venue.
- Each team must register before 19.30 and have a name, if possible a funny one.
- Each match includes six rapid chess games. Time limits are 10 minutes for each team and game, with a 4 second increment from move 1.
- Each team must include no less than two players and no more than four players in each match. Within a team, players can talk as much as they want about the ongoing games and exchange what game to play whenever they want to. The arbiters can intervene against teams receiving advice from someone outside their team, or against teams trying to disturb other participants by yelling or screaming.
- Use of chairs during the matches are allowed, although not recommended.
- FIDE rules for rapid chess applies, including the rules of touched piece and released piece. Making a move on the board and handling the clock afterwards must be done with the same hand (and that means by the same player, yes!).
- The playing system will be four rounds Swiss, with team points counting before individual points, then internal meeting if there is one. If first place is still equal, there will be one playoff match, and if this ends up with a draw the first prize is shared. First round will start about 20.30, second round about 21.00, third round about 21.30 and fourth round about 22.00.
